Daniel Flapper :: Hinkle ~ Casting the Runes

Daniel's first play-going experience was driving up a dark canyon road (the same one where James Dean met his death) one rainy Halloween night when he was twelve years old to see Mary Shelly's Frankenstein at a hole-in-the-wall playhouse in the middle of nowhere.  That night he saw an entire audience literally on the edge of their seats jump backward in terror when the creature lunged out unexpectedly from behind a set piece.  From that night on Daniel has wanted to be a part of that experience for others and he has found his opportunity with Wicked Lit!  He has worked with Unbound Productions on several developmental and educational play readings and is makes his debut appearance in the fully staged festival this season.  Daniel studied acting at the Pacific Conservatory of the Performing Arts and earned a baccalaureate from the College of Santa Fe (defunct).

Marcy K. Hiratzka :: The Shadow ~ A Ghost Story

Marcy has been working back stage and in the tech booth for almost a decade; who would have known that she was originally a classically trained actress? Acting took a back seat to costume-designing, stage-managing, and her government day job (which she loves!) and this is her first appearance ON stage in years. The audition and call-back process never felt more rejuvenating! Marcy has worked with East West Players, Metamorphosis Theatre Company, Chalk Repertory Theatre, Long Beach Opera, and Culver City Public Theatre, and is elated to be working with so many wonderful people on this production. Eric Keitel :: Wolfe MacFarland ~ The Body Snatcher

Eric is wicked excited for you to come out and watch him dress up for Halloween this year.  He is going as a creepy character from classic literature...wait, all 27 other actors had the same idea?  This is really embarrassing.  Well, Eric plans to stand out because his costume was designed by none other than Christine Cover F - okay, this is really getting ridiculous.  Apparently everyone has amazing ideas and costumes this Halloween season.  I guess you'll just have to enjoy it, that is, when you get the courage to peek through your shaking fingers.  Eric received his B.A. in theatre at The Ohio State University before hilariously cramming all of his worldly possessions into his tiny Honda Civic and driving out to LA.  Favorite theatrical experiences include writhing around the Scottish stage in Allain Rochel's adaptation of The Bacchae at the Edinburgh Festival last summer, and bumbling across the boards as Starveling in A Midsummer Night's Dream in conjunction with the Virginia Symphony Orchestra to open the 2005 Virginia Arts Festival.
